Re: Levi's Vintage 519 Bedford cords?

I got the Fog ones from AmateursandProfessionals and for me they're a tad too tight along the lower leg. They look good from the front and back because the stiffness of the fabric creates the illusion that the legs are wider than they really are, but from the sides they look definitely skinny.

My advice would be to avoid them. I used to be an advocate but the slim fit coupled with zero-stretch to the fabric means they prematurely tear at the crotch

I've got a pair of the fog for sale. 15" across the waist, 10 1/2 rise, 28 1/2 inseam, 7" hem. Excellent condition, never worn I bought these from another member last year, didn't quite work for me. $40 bucks plus the shipping , ( probably $20. to UK, $10 States)

OK. Need some help from the Ivy hive mind.

I've got what I think are the first generation of the 519 reissues. In both 'Fog' and 'Swamp'.
This cut is good for me, but all others I have tried on are worse/different.

Anyone know if any other colours were released at the same time as the Fog and Swamp were?

Sid, those colours are the second LVC re-issues
there was a 'pirate black' (a sort of odd overdyed black), mirage (a pale blue) and the European ltd edition 'marine' blue and some very rare off-white (with a black and gold tab) made as the Japan ltd edition.

mirage sound like they might work (can't be anymore difficult to wear than the pale green of swamp)
