This is weird I went to link the thread on to The Roll Call and when it asked me to choose a thumb nail like it often does on FB, some images came up that weren't on the thread, I had to grab them with some screen shots.

UPDATE- I've had a squint at the blue/white shirts label and I'm pretty sure it's made by 'Beams'.

They're all on the second dump I think. Maybe your computer's blocked them?
Actually, now I look back it appears they are blocked. Must be a copyright thing. Fair enough. As long as you can see them on your post I'll leave as is.

Thanks, those straps are superb- I'd love to find them!
It's taken me a while but I've just got Chris H's 'regular' joke. Very good. To clever for me I suppose and went way over my head.
Just thought I'd post that publicly so Chris didn't think I was poo pooing him.
Oliver- Keep your eyes peeled and let us know if you come across any.

It was a crappy joke about the Ivy movement.
Keeping posting.
The first "flush" are great.

BEAMS does a lot of funky stuff. :)

I'd be in bento box heaven! Although, none of the clothes would fit. I think I'll stay here, you know just keep an eye on things, while you're all away.
Great thread !
Profound thanks, Liam -
I love how much they ENJOY their style.
I love the Weejuns tumblr. He's recently posted some amazing Japanese magazine scans. I can't imagine many of you don't visit just now but if you don't, you should! http://theweejun.tumblr.com/
Whether from his own collection of material or from an online source this stuff is fanatstic and I've never seen it before. Apologies if you lot already have.

This ones a pinkish colour. ![]()
There is a great pic, which i`ll try to scan, where McQueen looks to be wearing the same shirt under a slightly heavier gauge, variegated `peat` coloured brown crewneck jumper, with drab stone grey chinos. It`s , honestly, a really cool pic and , as i say, i`ll try to upload it so you can see...
Look how Steve's popover is a proper body fit and not the typically seen poncho style drape found on almost all vintage oxfords!
Wonderful work, guys, I'm catching up....
Oh, i dunno Hank, you`ve always caught up before....
Here we go...![]()

Clever stuff, eh?
Ostensibly anonymous. The respective elements might`ve been deemd boring, by themselves.
And yet, the `Look`, here, and the way he`s put all those disparate elements together, has created something something greater and more interesting than the sum of it`s parts.
I think this look ticks a lot of boxes.
The pinkish red shirt: Unexpectedness, vitality, freshness, youth
The peat brown jumper: solidity, reliability, maturity, warmth
The stone chinos: relaxation, understatement, lightness of spirit; and a carefree sensibility
Vision.

Great find, thanks for sharing this.
Anyone remember the band Pizzicato 5?
I remember them from the early 90's didn't know they started as early as 86, this video has some brief points on interest including the massive Mon Oncle poster being carried about
