It's the easy route to be "original", although the whole idea of being original is hardly original.

In contrast, the hardest thing to do is to wear something that has been done well before, and carry it off as if it were fresh. Maybe this in part drives the trads, but also explains why so few succeed in recapturing the spirit of the outfit.

Well, and to avoid being shot. Red contrasts to green doesn't it, so you'd stand out a lot better, in the undergrowth.

In the winter you can wear 3-strip Technicolor, for added layers of protection from the elements.

Just don't sit too close to the fireplace in a nitrate outfit.
