Take A Tip From 'The Syllabus'

Read certain parts of it with more than usual attention if you really want to know what Ivy League is all about.  John Gall selects his contributions with great care.

It does indeed come across as one of the most considered blogs out there. I hope it's a 'shop window' for John in some way... There are many more books I'd like him to write.

Re: Take A Tip From 'The Syllabus'

I was rather hoping someone would pick me up on this.  I can usually rely upon Woof, but I think he must have taken a walk - needing to clear his head after that harmless little exchange between Harpo and myself over the delights of Caribbean cuisine.  Poor chap strikes me as a two for £4.99 man.

I digress.

Woof?  Some kind of pie filled with gristle and bone, oven chips and mushy peas.

You'd be surprised. He's quite the Italian aficionado.

We all take turns to foot the bill - Last time he stood us all Salt Beef & liberal amounts of splosh.

This time is my turn & very happily so.

You should come.

Really.

Not my groove.  But thank you for thinking of me.

Very OK.

Maybe in town one day ?

Blandfords or the Italian cafe up the street ?

Richoux, even, on South Audley ?

Richoux would be a possibility.

I'm back from my walk and see the mantras continue to be chanted ......The Syllabus, Pared down Wardrobe, Montgomery Clift, West Indian Take Away, and so on. Have you thought of putting them on a prayer wheel?

There Andy and I will be. I'd be very happy to chant with him too.

Richoux looks like a nice traditional menu and good surroundings. Eating in central London can be very hit and miss.
