Well.... to be honest at this point, I wouldn't be shocked.

There has always been real controversy over Sutcliffe being the only 'Ripper'.

Many victims who survived attacks were dismissed by the police because of the variant descriptions of their assailants. Both the bearded and the unbearded attacker were using an identical M.O. at a time when the police had not released any M.O.

Once the cops had their man (remembering this was a very embarassing chapter in the police's history) they couldn't care less about any unresolved incidents. The testimony of dozens of women half-killed by blunt objects in the Chapeltown and Headingley area were simply ignored.

Aye, a big old celeb Paedo ring where Jimmy fixed it for other people in showbiz and politics and even Royals to abuse kids. That sounds about right. Of course we will only see surface skimming in any probes, inquests, investigations. A few has-beens thrown to the wolves.

News is Freddie Starr has been arrested now. A couple more will likely be named and then they will attempt to gloss over the whole thing. Nothing will change, things will move on and we will be encouraged to be shocked and appalled by something else down the line.
