The third one looks good...and the last one.
But these are strictly for holidays in warm climes. I notice ageing hippies and 60s flower power fans have propensity to wear flowery shirts in the bleak mid-winter to remind one and all how colourful they are.
A great look and for a time the house style at Rumsey's Lighthouse was Hawaiian and kitsch Polynesian.
If only we could get back to that time on the West Coast, the early 50s.
pure class..

Probably be called, ''Casa de Lulz'' if it came out now.
This is an absolute bargain:

That is a really good box set, a great introduction and has some examples of early post-war west coast jazz that was seriously urban hard bop; the Wardell Gray and Dexter Gordon stuff.
Been trying to find one of these in a more subtle pattern but no luck as yet.
Reyn reigned supreme in the bold patterns. I've owned a few. Not popovers though.
Thanks for bumping this thread. I now need to acquire one of these. Would look perfect with some poplin bermuda shorts and white Vans.
JS had a Sun Surf off me...worth a search for those, theyre a Japanese repro company

My favorites are the top center, bottom middle, and bottom right. Bottom right outta sight!
Some of those look like sis got bored at grandma's house and took the drapes down out of the window to sew a shirt for brother.
I think that's where I could be stylistically

Most of the Reyn popovers will be reverse prints. Worth a look for other makers like Kahala too.
