In related news I once slept through an entire George Benson concert... first seated concert in the evening on the first day of North Sea Jazz fest after a day of standing only concerts and three days of getting fucked up in Amsterdam.

Time Out and Jazz Goes to College by Dave Brubeck, Chet Bakers' Jazz at Ann Arbor. I'm not a connoisseur of Jazz but I find that these 3 albums are pretty much all I need. I don't want a big collection.

Aye, it falls into that Art Tatum and Oscar Peterson style. It's clearly before Bill Evans or Ahmed Jamal and it's cocktail time again.....a bit like George Shearing.
