I may be behind in my observation, but is this the first appearance of the term 'suiting' as a noun?

I actually find Muffy Aldrich's (now annual!) brand devolution chart to be fairly astute, so I was eager to see the iGent take on it. They immediately wander into talking about outdoor clothing company Patagonia and friggin fleeces.

Moderator (that banned me) Checkerboard 13 is in Hong Kong for a funeral and dares to admit wearing black, but tragically he forgot to bring one of his three fine, fine black neckties and must, must buy another one. Cheap. I thought this was an Asian wardrobe staple but apparently nobody in the country can help him, so he turns to the basement-dwellers of the internet. No replies yet.

^ Suiting is a noun in the UK.
Why did you get banned? I thought they had stopped all that once they realised the churn rates meant numbers were falling in the long term.
A quick pint in some of the more run down spit and sawdust boozers in Manchester's Gay Village will quickly dispel the myth that all gays are prancing and effeminate falsetto gaggling queens.
But in saying that, as Thaw has observed, you can in some instances make a good guess as to someone's sexual preference, but not kink. I don't see anything homophobe in this.
Not that it matters because Sammy has earned himself a 'time out' for messing with Talk Ivy.
Again.
So say what you like about him. Until he's back.
Quite why Talk Ivy is such a troll magnet I do not know...
OK - He's back again now.
All he's had is a tiny holiday. And I've fooled with his name & post count...
... All of which I can fix.
He just needs to stop trying to fool with Talk Ivy.

I generally find Orgetorix to be an okay guy, but the senseless quest for all things shell cordovan that leads to chopping up someone's old shoe to make a summer camp watchband strikes me as inane.

"My chest and shoulder measurements fluctuate by several inches during the year depending on whether I'm doing more cardio/sports or more heavy weightlifting." Unlike the weight fluctuations caused by extra servings of dessert... anyway, instead of maintaining body size, how about I buy wardrobes in several sizes?

Andyland in a nutshell: I got a pair of used Allen Edmonds Park Avenue on Ebay and each shoe creases differently. Is there a way to erase the fact that they are used and may not fit?

I want to buy an additional pair of Alden Indy boots for some reason, but deciding between black and brown requires group effort. All replies are questions, not answers.

Good finds again.
Adnan Khashoggi reputedly had all his suits tailored to allow for easy and regular adjustment because of wildly fluctuating weight.
