I'm probably more interested in Sam Shepard's scripts, overall. His beauty marriage -- Jessica Lange -- lasted a bit longer than Miller's, to his credit.

He was not perfect, it's true, but I believe he greatly improved the country. U.S. administrations were paranoid about Castro because of the Communist lable, his supposed ties to the USSR, and his violent takeover. That blinded this country to the many progressive social reforms he introduced that vastly improved life for many Cubans. Equality for black Cubans, expanded rights for women, efforts to improve infrastructure, housing, medical facilities. Unemployment came down, education reached more children. Pretty significant improvements, if you ask me.
