Thanks to Armchaired's brilliant discovery that many years of the Blue Print have been digitally archived by Georgia Tech, I'll begin mining the best shots from the huge pdf files. Should result in far superior quality. Thanks for sleuthing AC.

I think the marked decline in resolution is obvious. This is unfortunate, as I'm not quite as inspired to do the tedious image grafting work. I think my next move will be to get a new scanner. Then I can redo the previous posted images in a much better quality, and then moving forward I can scan my other yearbooks to provide the utmost quality. I think whoever scanned the books for the Tech archives must have used a lesser resolution, probably to keep the pdf files manageable. They're already huge as they are.
I will say this, moving back from '64 to '60, you see a lot more white socks on display.
Wm, scanner quality usually isn't an issue. Probably don't need a new scanner. Go in and see whats the best, high res way to save scans.
They would have scanned straight to .PDF and set it up to optimise between, quality, time, labour, and effort.
Yeah. I really need to be able to zoom in and count cuff buttons and see if the button down has a rear collar button for it to really get me going.
Zoom on a scanner? What will they think of next!
My fave thread for yonks... Thank you.
Such an AMERICAN look.
Perfect stuff.
Best -
You think the Blueprint's General Section Editor, "John Anouilh" might have been pulling our legs?
You are a perfectionist WM, i think the latest images suffice.
Appreciate the effort you put in mate interesting point about the white socks.
I wonder what the 1950's look like?
