Re: Tech Ivy

/\  why not?  I've got some Fruit of the Looms and other inexpensive ones, made in USA even, bookmarked ... which is not to disrespect any of the nicer or more expensive ones, or suggest anybody is overpaying, especially given that the people who've posted about the Velva-Sheens are so damn styling ..... the nicer stuff is nicer but the high price of everything good has got me a little shocked .....

just saying that it's possible to get pretty much all the way there to the top of Mt. Ivy on the cheap ... but I don't think high prices are the reason people don't dress Ivy more ... it's that the long basketball shorts, flip-flops, hoodies and baseball caps are what the little horrors want to wear ... they grew up watching the MTV and the Jackass and and ......

... I've become a codger .... anyway, my old USA Champions and Russells are holding up well but I want some new colors ......

Re: Tech Ivy

Still my favourite thread of the past 5+ years of doing this. A big tip of the hat to the OP and all who've joined in.

There's loads of inspiration for me here that Take Ivy just couldn't supply... And that's entirely what I'm in it for: New ideas, new combinations, stuff to think about to add to what I do and improve it...

Best -

What the world needs now is love, sweet love... And a jolly good kick up the harris.

Re: Tech Ivy

Thanks for this thread lads. Really inspiring words and pictures.

Highlights for me are the dark popover/light 5 pockets combo and all the lovely prints.

Re: Tech Ivy

Haha.  I can see a slight resemblance.

And I noticed while going back through the thread on my phone that some pics are messed up, or repeated in place of the pic that should be there, and even people's avatars are showing up where the pics should be.  None of these problems exist on my computer at home or work.  So if you're looking on your phone and see these issues, then sorry.  Not sure why that would happen.
