Stan, on the subject of 70's westerns, do you remember Rancho Deluxe? Jeff Bridges and Sam Waterson written by Tom McGuane, a modern western but a great movie.

Just saw a cool Western, "A Gunfight" with Kirk Douglas and Johnny Cash, weird but worth checking out... Saw it right before KD died, hope I didn't jinx him.

Yeah, I wish there was a scan of the whole thing somewhere... Loved the details on the atmosphere at Plimpton's. Just read Roger Angell's hilarious parody of "Out of My League" from the New Yorker in 1961 - "Over My Head"... I'll see if I can find a postable version...
