I'm not feeling great encouragement. Should have consulted the oracle before ordering )
Nah, it's a great sweater. Mine has probably gone shaggy from over-wear; it's like a second skin when I'm about the house, extremely comfy
Andover offers two beautiful camel hair cardigans; four-ply 'regular' and two-ply shawl collar. $375 and $475.
I nearly got a black sheep last week but the shop were out of fatman sizes...
Anyway I love this bit on their website..
Steve McQueen had one (or if he didn’t he certainly had something similar), Larry Hagman came very close to buying one and if Terry Wogan hasn’t got one then more fool him. In an age of celebrity endorsement, I am sure you will agree, we can’t say more than that.

Orvis currently have their rather nice shawl neck cardigans on sale at 50% off in their Lower Regent Street store in London.
They are still the normal price online but I'm sure the shop would send you one if you phoned them.

Hi everyone,
I'm new here and saw this post and thought I could add, I've had a shawl neck cardigan from Drakes of London now for three years and it's the best one I have ever had I can see it lasting ten years + it's that good but what isn't so good is the price now they have gone up to £675.00 but you won't have to buy another one for a very long time.

Nice Orvis shawl neck drab green cardigan at the bay.....
Being a 4 ply cashmere I'm not surprised I'd take that over a night out with el cappo
Your beard is at least a three ply. But rough as a Shetland I'm sure
Three Ply Beard, didn't they do 'Joy to The World'.
