Re: Wrangler Beater Jeans - Some Help Please!

I was once told to take new chinos to the dry cleaners a couole of times and then proceed to wash them normally to avoid excesive shrinkage.

I don't worry about shrinkage since getting my pants stretching rack. Works a treat.

That's good to hear.  They likely wouldn't have shrunk to accommodate my waifish stature anyway.

DG - congrats on the 54's - those are some serious jeans ... did you already get the 67's?

WM - I'll keep an eye for you at the NY LVC shop - they do a gargantuan sale around this time. So pm me your size and I'll keep you posted.

Hmmmmm.... I note the display tag reads "Over Y'alls"  Haha.  I'm not sure about the fit and color.  Definitely a little more "dad jeans" than the rigid wranglers.  Maybe worth a shot though.  Could always use a new pair of yard pants.

Re: Wrangler Beater Jeans - Some Help Please!

The fact that such substantial jeans can be made so cheaply really flies in the face of the super high dollar LVC offerings.  Not knocking them per se, just makes the price of those jeans seem a little inflated.

Well I'm a firm believer that big boots work better with wider looser strides... am sure it's a middle aged thing too...i.e the comfort factor ha ha...

The colour of the wrigid Wranglers is growing on me. When everyone around you is wearing stonewashed denim or dark indigo jeans, they stand out in a good way.
