Glad the Leesures worked for you!

Mine haven't shrinked at all and I went for the slimmer silhouette. I forget the model but they're supposedly slightly tapered compared to the original 13mwz. They're wide as a mofo.

Re: Wrangler Beater Jeans - Some Help Please!

You got the 936 model Oli.  I think they are only different in the seat and thigh, but have the same leg opening as the 13MWZ.

And AC, you could always have them taken in a bit if they don't shrink enough.

Re: Wrangler Beater Jeans - Some Help Please!

I find mine acceptable without tapering too. This coming from a guy that tapers almost everything.

Yes.  See how her legs taper toward the hoof.  She gave the tailor quite a time.  But I think she looks much better with the taper.  Much more barnyard boom years IMO.

That tapir's black and white combination is really the essence of cool-chic.  I mean purists might scoff but I like that "black mischief" she's up to.

Now if we could only do something about that profile.

Re: Wrangler Beater Jeans - Some Help Please!

What is everyone's experience with the sizing of the 13mwz's? For Levi's 501 STF I wear W32 L34.
Is this the size I should choose for the Wranglers?

Re: Wrangler Beater Jeans - Some Help Please!

Can't compare to Levis I'm afraid, but the 13MWZ fitted me true to size. Also zero shrinkage.

The inside leg also seems to be the true measurement.

Re: Wrangler Beater Jeans - Some Help Please!

They're pretty much true to size in my experience as well.  You order 32 waist it's going to measure 32.  You can get some shrinkage if you soak in really hot water a few times.  Mine have shrank a little in the waist and slightly in length.

Ok cowhands - time to report back and update. Shrinkage on waist and kegs - colour fades etc etc

kegs?  The kegs always shrink when I'm around.
