Re: Liam MacDonald Obituary

Thank you FXH that was beautifully written and you have done us all proud.

I think I can safely say Liam was one of the funniest people Ive ever spoken to, the other week we were discussing how only the Americans could have taken such a healthy food as sushi and decide to add cheese to it. But then he also pointed out as a Scot he really was in no position to comment on the quality of other nation's diets.

Anyway.. a few seconds passed and up popped the message 'I wish they all could be California Roooooooolllllllssss!'

Not sure if it was off the top of his head or not but countless times in had me in stitches like that, the guy was seriously quick. Just another attribute about him I'll miss.

Also the time we fell out because I wouldn't agree that there was any possibility that Shooey could be right about trans-dimensional shape shifting lizard people.

God I'm gonna miss that guy.

This was exceptionally moving, FXH. Thank you. And, to second Bop: God I'm gonna miss that guy, too.

Thanks to all.

Sharmie - as I've said in my email to you - sadly there are some idiots around on the net - just like on the ground -  I think it would be better if you sent the physical address to me via email and I'll pass it on to armchaired and a few others and we will pass it on to anyone who emails or PMs.

For those members who want an address to send something to Liam's family and friends and Sharmie ::

Very nicely put fxh. It's a strange thing this online business, I have been feeling like I lost a friend for the past few days and I never met the man in person.

^ Yes.

I feel the exact same.

Re: Liam MacDonald Obituary

Thanks all of you for your  extremely touching and heartfelt words about Liam
I have been given great comfort reading just how highly regarded and loved he was by his friends and peers .
I only initially found the forum to thank fxh for his kind words at the funeral but I have found myself  looking through some of Liams posts and reading his truly unique mix of silly and very clever humour and its good to know that he can still make me laugh  from wherever he is now.

There's a piece of a Scottish forest forever in his honour.

A great young gentleman and he is missed here as well amongst his family and friends out in the physical world.
