Same peoples that not wear ties because "uncomfortables" wear ultra tight skinny pants low rise.
A full cut trousers with pleats (reverse pleats if you want flat the figure), IS FREEDOM!

I'll have to say, I've been really obsessed with achieving the perfect taper.  For me, that's down to about 7.5 inch ankle, which is pretty damn slim.  It's not ankle hugging slim, but there's not a lot of flap down there.  I do have less severe tapers on some wool and suit trousers, to the tune of about 8 - 8.5 inches.  I think the 7.5 is ideal for me if wearing desert boots or loafers, but sometimes when wearing some big gunboats, I really feel like I could use a more generous hem width than 7.5.  Slim taper with substanshall gunboats on my tiny frame can look less than ideal.
