Clothing FOR SALE or SWAP

This is a consolidation of previous For Sale and Swap threads that were sticky. There was too much crowding of the sticky space.

A thread will appear at the top of the "normal" list when updated with new material.

Many of those who offer clothing For Sale are on ETSY. http://www.etsy.com/

If a link does not work then search for thread by exact name.

L L Bean field coat in Saddle colour with the top spec Primaloft liner, dark green corduroy collar and cuffs. Size - Medium

Exactly as depicted here in this image from the L L Bean website:

http://forums.filmnoirbuff.com/uploads/thumbs/1845_field_coat.jpg

and this link:

http://www.llbean.com/llb/shop/19191?fe … loft-liner

I bought it on a bit of a whim three years ago on a USA trip, but to be honest I never really gelled with the work wear look. Its hung in the closet since then, I haven't worn it more than 3 - 4 times and never in the wet, so needless to say its in mint condition. PM if measurements are required but I'm a 40R and it fits me perfectly.

55 + postage.

I have a circa late 70s made to measure all wool navy J. Press/ brooks Bros style (rear hook vent etc)   blazer  made for me by Beetles London tailor, Douggie Millings & Son, at their former Marylebone, London W1 shop.  The size is 44R and features roll lapel, welted edges, gold buttons and silk lining. Still in good conbdition but just a little tight for me now alas.
This is obviously a rare item as Douyggie did not usually do Ivy style jackets, but at my request and knowing his son Gordon he obliged.  In fact he made three for me in all.  The other two in sa

A recent edition with a new afterword deals with how the digital age of file sharing and all that junk is affecting the trends previously dealt with in the book.  I'm sure that's interesting as well.

Indeed!

1950 ed. of 'Fundamentals of Acoustics' underneath is a bit of a mind bender though. The paperback has some kosher ivy fitting content too:

Outstanding 60s tweed Cricketeer/Trad Shop sack jacket! Estimated size 40-41R or L.

Of all the items I own that don't fit me, this one takes pride of place. A beautiful tweed, a classic 3/2 roll, slim but not overly skinny lapels, hook vent, lapped seams, and a wonderful and highly distinctive lining. This is one hell of a jacket!

N.B.  Actual colour is only captured on the last 3 photos.

Condition is superb, with no defects, and many, many years' wear left.

Shoulder to shoulder 18 3/4"

Pit to pit 22"

Sleeve 25"

Length from top of collar 32"

60GBP shipped in the UK, with international enquiries welcome.

I know this out of season, but I need the space, and you need this jacket.
