Re: Clothing FOR SALE or SWAP

Hey Sancho,

How long are your arms? If you have a tailor's tape and can measure, that would be helpful.

To give you an idea I typically wear 33 sleeves but I can get away with 34 too (if you read my post above you'll see that I offered to swap for 15/33-4) so chances are it will work. On the plus side, if you find the sleeves slightly too large then it shouldn't cost you more than $10-15 at most to bring it to your tailor and ask to have them shortened. It's really one of the easiest alterations and I've done it countless times. If I find a vintage shirt that I like in my neck size, as long as the sleeves aren't to short I'll almost certainly buy it for that very reason. It's cheap and easy to shorten sleeves. The shirt hasn't been washed yet so if you're interested in it, I would suggest that you wait to see how it fits after washing. It might turn out perfectly for you.

Re: Clothing FOR SALE or SWAP

These modern xtra slim fits really look pretty good in the pics.  For those not into "billow", they would probably be a treat.  Not to mention, I could see them working great for cold weather layering, such as under a shetland, when a full-cut shirt may even be a little too much material to work with.

^ indeed, that's exactly how I used to wear them. they're really thick oxford cloth so perfect for crisp spring mornings or late fall afternoons. They're really soft and heavy duty, I actually used to sleep in 'em! Here's a picture of that night I slept over at your pad in my red university stripe, WM:

Here's a fit pic (Worried Man's bathroom!) and I'll get measurements up in a minute; not unlike a slim hugging Purist from what I remember:

Strange, I just filtered through my junkmail and I actually discovered an email from another forum member but nothing from you man. What's your address? I'll try emailing you directly. Otherwise, if you just want to buy the shirt, I can post the PayPal address and just be sure to indicate your address when paying? Whatever's easiest...

Re: Clothing FOR SALE or SWAP

I've got a J Press blue gingham 16-34 up for sale. Relatively recent. Not worn too often. $20, not including shipping.

The shirt has been claimed pending transaction.
