Re: The help for a belt!

Search eBay for any vintage leather Coach belts.

I'm sure you can easily find something similar at O'Connell's or John Simons too.

Shit!  Screw the belt, man.  Where can I get PAUL'S entire outfit.  See ya later "Ivy League", Worried Man's about to join all the Winnies in the back of the VW Microbus.

Good old Kevin was definitely the ivy league hold out of that show.  He was still in chinos and button downs when everyone else was already long gone for Woodstock.

Ah, Winnie. Super-cooper-trouper. The actress appears to be a very bright and smart lady.

What was it - ah, belts. When you are not after the hard-to-get horseshoe-buckle, it should not be too hard to find a belt. You could try those guys:

http://www.equusleather.co.uk/index.php/Bridle-Leather-Belts/View-all-products.html

I still haven't took the plunge to buy from them, but they have belts from british tan bridle leather and you shold be able to find a buckle you like.

I have had a couple of tab & buckle surcingle belts from these guys (click on the 'Leather Man Ltd' link on the home page):

Re: The help for a belt!

Another suggestion - Cox's Saddlery a shop local to me, they make belts to your specification:

http://www.saddler.co.uk/shop.html?cr=10339&cdesc=belts

They are cheaper than Equs whose prices have gone up a lot, I can't say how the quality compares but I'm very pleased with a couple of belts Cox's have made for me.

They also sell this ready made bridle belt which is pretty much my favourite. At less than 25 quid it's a bit of a steal IMO.

Re: The help for a belt!

I wish that I could find a simple leather belt that has the right size. I like the size of the buckle on the J Press' surcingle belts, but in all leather seems to be almost impossible to find.

Re: The help for a belt!

I have been searching for what I think of as a "thin republican belt" for a long time…they were the kinds of slim, black leather belts you always saw on the guys who ran NASA or were FBI in the 60's...

Sancho - What about WM's belt guy? Can they help you out? They seem to have a lot of options. http://www.custom-leather-belts.com/mens-leather-belts.html
