I've got the dirty bucks but it's not really the look. I think the hush puppies are a bit more creeper, but are not obviously so.

I think these would fit squarely into the look.  I'm sure you could have seen a total greaser in jeans and turn ups sporting these, but then also a young, clean cut schoolboy.

I think it might be best to call it the car club look. Lakelands, jeans, tees, loops n BDs. Greased hair. As to avoid any serious confusion. But it's very much the ivy wing of rock n roll. Very much the style of Byron Lee and the Caddies in the home video clips on you tube.
