Greasers as a subculture was never a big thing here.

Like I said might be best to call it car club. It's really not leather jackets or leather waistcoats and engineering boots. It's more collegiate but still rock n roll. Less Latino than the low riders.

Greaser style was more about the car or bike you were using to get there, and rockabilly style was more about what you were going to listen to on the way.
