Re: Is this 1 hip for downtown?

Jackets all right l suppose but maybe abit too much shoulder hanging over (jacket seems alittle bit broad across the shoulder), but the shirt has to go, look at that scrunched shirt collar! The tie looks like nice silk but appears to be alittle short. Maybe you could go to a tailor and get that jacket fitted alittle better. The biggest problem l have with that outfit is the shirt. Gee, you've broken all the sartorial rules, buy hey that's fashion.

Thanks for sharing and having the courage to wear your outfit to show the world.

Are the trousers Versace?

I feel this is very hip for a luxury restaurant.

Re: Is this 1 hip for downtown?

Thank you for these replies.

Those are not Versace pants, but shorts called "The Original Jams"(I received this, and a pair of PS shoes, from an elder man in my building previous). I thought they match with the tie so I put them over my pants.

With a silk shirt like this, what knot should I make? It's difficult because of the collar,it's becoming scrunched like you said Shooman.

NO

you are wearing a shirt from the early 80's
a tie from the mid to late 90's. yes,the teal in the tie matches the teal in the shirt. But I teal if that is teal, is an bad color!

I can not tell much about the jacket is that one button?

With Jams from what the early 90's.

I hope you do not go out of your apartment in this outfit.

Carl

Mr Vaclav, this is a ridiculos outfit.  The colour of the shirt is ghastly, and though many of my countrymen would be quite fond of this tie, I find it dreadful.

The jacket appears nice.

Who are these Nationalists you reference?  You maybe will not provoke them, but you will provoke Sartorialists!

l'm NOT a fan of any of the colours either, but i'm trying hard to think like a 20 something fashionista.  lt taken many looks and alot of thought to try to understand the look. smile

I might wear this 1 for mother's day, even if I spent it alone.
