And indeed - look no further than the Rangers Dog... thrown money blindly at useless tired old gits well past their sell-by date who'll happily take the moolah and do feck all for it!!
Add a wholly incompetent manager(s) and staff with as much tactical nous as I have an "afro" and all you do is alienate the hardcore.. we happily road-test bigger teams young hopefuls and Kyle Walker aside...they all end up being a mare...whilst we blood our own at lower league and never hear of them again...
I love the League we're in...have no real desire to up into the top flight where there's only 8 teams or so who have any real interest in it whilst the rest try intermittently to stay there cos OOOOH it's worth millions if you can simply stay in it?!?!?  To do what precisely is another thing...

As for the Chumps League.... I don't see why they just haven't done this all season now...let them all nosh each other off I say cos none of my footie mates have any interest in it... and I'm sure we're not alone...

Not even the World Cup will chalk my cue much unless an unfancied team (Belgium maybe) suddenly pull out all the stops...
