^ and I thought I was skinny. The photos aren't making me reach for my wallet I must admit.
Also, given the guy's impressive height, I wonder what kind of taper (hem width) would be achieved for much shorter inseams given that these are sold unfinished with a 36" leg?

I think they look good. But what's the price?
£99, circa $164.
And knowing me, probably a little altering on top.
$164 for chinos? And give that man a sandwich and a testosterone injection.
As posted on here, it worked out cheaper for me to order some from O'Connell s which i am very pleased with.
Those pictures have justified my decision as that fella does them no credit and looks ill IMO (no offense intended).
The guy modelling them seems to be having more impact on the viewers than the Chinos Haha!
New thread name perhaps?
"PICTURES OF THE JOHN SIMONS WAFER THIN MODEL WEARING APPAREL COMPANY CHINOS"
so these are different than the ones currently on the site? I wonder if they will offer a 30" waist, anyone know?
The RL chinos I looked at today were €199 and not as good as the JSA ones, I have a pair and they are spot-on. Ideal for work with a good crease in them.
In fact, I was going to buy a pair on the website this weekend, but I got all excited and purchased a pair of Alden longwings with a plantation crepe sole, so my pocket money is well and truly spent!
Is he the same fella who was featured in earlier photos? He indeed does not look very well. Hope it's nothing too bad and he will get better.
Can't say much about the chino's fit and cut from these pics. I would have given them a bit of the old iron for promo pics.
If he IS sick I apologize for my comment.
According to the JS website they are not available in a 30" waist which is disappointing for those of us who are as thin as that chap, but perfectly healthy - as I'm sure he is.

Talk about jumping on a bandwagon you lot. Guy is as fit as a fiddle, he's just doing some serious miles on a bike at the moment.
I don't think hes sick - he's just english
I am glad to hear he is okay but the the whole thread has become about his appearance rather than the chinos.
It is hard to judge them as they have not really been represented well due to the poor quality and staging of the snaps.
What i find baffling is one of the reasons i presume JS have quite a high price-point ,is that they are US made and uniquely
in today's world, they have a high rise. Why then post pictures on Facebook of a guy called Guy modeling them with his sweater hanging
down covering the full extent of the rise.
Clearly i am no PR guru but it seems a bit nuts and counter productive.
