I had the same issue with my Keydge, well not same issue just complete laziness in sending it back. But finally after nearly a year and a half it fits. God bless the bicycle
I'm facing a similar problem, bought some of the 5 pockets in store on a recent trip down to london. I tried them on again at home and realised the rise isn't right. I want to send them back but I think the 7 days is over tomorrow. I'd be happy with an exchange as I'd like to buy a new kedge. Hope they agree. Also I tried on the chino. The fits all wrong plus I think the sizings way out.
Your legal right to 7 days is for online purchases only (although any company can offer such a service for instore purchases if they choose. No idea if JS would be amenable to your returning them, but you can try.)
What was the rise like on them? Obviously you dont want a nipple chaffing rise on 5ps but were they too high or too low?
I see thank you, no harm in trying especially if it's an exchange I'm after. The rise is too low.
If your nipples aren't casting shadows on your waistband at high noon, the rise is too low.
Haha. I get enough stains on my crotch as it is.
Received some great customer service from John Simons. I returned the 5ps and was able to get a partial refund on a Kedge I bought online to the value of the 5ps. I eagerly await my Kedge now.
If they've sorted out the waist sizing issues (they were initially 2 inches smaller than labelled) the above could be fairly accurate? My pair of 36 after a few washes seem to be around 11.5 front rise. Did take about 5 inches off the legs and have them retapered on mine as well.
Where are they made Tommy ?
India, like the madras I think? They're well cut, well constructed and a decent cloth. If these are what I brought and the rise has been improved, they're not bad but could do with coming in more leg lengths.
They strike me more as mid-rise rather than high? Would have expected something around the 13" mark for smaller sizes? (Something this measurement is deceiving). Any photos of being worn?
These are chinos modelled after the Duckheads they had in. Same pattern as the Duckheads just a higher rise. Here are some pictures I posted in the summer when I picked them up.
