Re: Ivy Capote.

I bought a DVD entitled Capote recently. A recent film about him. I got it mainly because it was in Oxfam for 2.49GBP, and I was hoping for some decent period clothing, although that could in all probability not be on the cards. I've yet to see it, and now I know he was a homosexual I may - shock horror - be in less of a hurry to see it. I want to take a salacious delight in watching gratuitous vintage ivy kit, but not gratuitous gay sex scenes.

some sort of banal legitimacy

Capote really sets my gaydar to full tilt.  Kind of like the first time AC sent me a PM going on and on about some Gene Kelly flick he'd just seen.

Hey. That was between us!  You're such an ass!  I've made a lot of money in that suit though. Got to fund the ivy smack habit. It ain't pretty.

Gene Kelly was the man, he made it look quite normal and natural for a 100% red blooded male to walk down the street and suddenly burst out into song and dance.

Re: Ivy Capote.

@Yuca - Capote is actually a cracking film. Well worth 2 hours of anyone's time. And if you're concerned about scenes of an adult nature, I certainly don't remember any (though I can't guarantee there aren't any). Enjoy!

Re: Ivy Capote.

I dont recall any either but I think Infamous was better for its wardrobe than Capote.  But Capote was a better film. Both worth a watch. Heavy going of course
