Re: Steampunk Emporium

Getting frequent parcels from 'Gentleman's Emporium' might get the neighbors talking about you though.

Re: Steampunk Emporium

I always quite fancied a smoking jacket and a fez, mind you. Just for pottering around at home with a big glass of Scotch in hand and annoying my wife.

^Mr Maclennan, you've missed out the old Victrola and collection of Polynesian and 1920s world music 78s!

I actually like the concept of steampunk living in an alternative reality of science fiction set in the Victorian age, but I wouldn't want to live it everyday.

Steampunk started and finished with the Wombles as far as I'm concerned.

Re: Steampunk Emporium

I would have thought, rather than the inter-war years, this diesalpunk malarkey would have located itself in the diesal train age of the 50s, 60s and 70s?

Romance for the age of diesal power, what madness will consume us next?!

LOL.

So what is dieselpunk anyway? I got a whole shop full of diesel parts. Can I use them to accessorize?

Re: Steampunk Emporium

That means you may actually have knowledge of diesel engines and some practical use for the parts. That means you can't participate.
