Re: Slim Fitz

The orange print will be short sleeve and the blue long. Both 100% cotton Japanese fabric. I can't wait to see them as shirts smile

Re: Slim Fitz

Fitz, you should try to investigate the old blue multistripes that Ben Sherman used to offer. They were fantastic looking - albeit poly cotton which was "OK in them days".

Ben was Brighton-based too.

Patterns back in the day were far more varied than what is on offer today; but you can never go wrong with a blue background.

Re: Slim Fitz

Finding fabric is hard Kingstonian, especially in unusual stripes and checks. I'm on the lookout for some interesting stripes though. I didn't think I was doing to bad with the two fabrics above, 2 Madras checks, a blue Chambray and a green Chambray. Do you have any pictures of the stripes you like? I showed Tom one the other day but he thought it looked a bit banker, or was he calling me a wan.. hang on, Tom? smile

Re: Slim Fitz

Wasn't the Ben Sherman originally a Gant copy? I can't remember exactly which one he copied

Re: Slim Fitz

What type of chambray are you going for this run, H? Will it be a slubby, work-wear style blue or similar to the recent fine-weave chambray?

Also, canny bleedin' wait!

Re: Slim Fitz

It's the same Chambray as before Don. The last lot got such a good response and I've had quite a few enquiries so I thought it'd be a good idea to make some more. I'm planning on doing a nice slubby work-wear style Chambray pop over later this year though.

Re: Slim Fitz

Its got to be an 18" collar with around a 28" inch chest. I remember you did kindly offer to mock up a larger shirt sometime ago but unfortunately Im not sure that is something I can afford at the moment with moving n' all

Re: Slim Fitz

No worries mate, if you do want one let me know and I'll get one sized up. I won't be able to do it for this next batch anyway as it's a bit late.
