^ ha,
they were the support band on a tour I worked on in the dim and distant past, so couldn't avoid them for nearly a month.

I think it was an R.E.M. European tour in 94/95ish, I was a (very) junior PA/system tech on it ( i even had hair back then wink )

Ah, that was the Moster tour, I saw them play Huddersfield that year. Oasis were supposed to support them but had to pull out, got the Beautiful South instead!

Re: Who's in the house!

^ I've got the crew tour jacket somewhere, a horrible 'satin' type thing with my name mis-spelled in embroidery on the left breast.
I didn't actually see a single show on the tour, was sat in front of the amp racks (either under or behind the stage) waiting for something to go wrong. Sounded great most nights tho' wish I could have seen the show properly.

Still surprises me just how weird sounding these tracks are.
I remember first stepping in to a club that was playing this sort of stuff and it was literally like stepping in to another world.
Recently, I asked my 8yr. old daughter what she thought one morning whilst spinning one of these records and she said it was like being beemed in to the future.

Re: Who's in the house!

...yes.
Remember this one when it first hit the dance floors, a definite step-change for sure.
Is my memory playing tricks on me or did someone involved in this particular record wind up in the Future Sound of London?
