In my opinion only a lunatic would drive in decent shoes , it creases them unnecessarily and i wont even drive
in my modern plastic weejuns. I actually own a pair of drivng mocs and i asume unlike most i only use them for the purpose they were
designed for.The shoes i am wearing that day are placed in the boot/trunk in shoe trees with a shoe horn for when i arrive at my destination.
What about you cats ?
Of-course You may not have a car at all but remember brothers and sisters you can still stand tall. Diamond in the back, sunroof top, Diggin' the scene,With a gangsta lean.
Normal shoes.
Otherwise you are always changing footwear which is a bit sad. Especially for local trips. A couple of hundred miles might be different.
You see i think driving in normal shoes is a bit sad.
I wear what whatever I'm wearing on my feet when I get into the car. But as Kingy says - if it's a proper long journey I may have a think about it.
For the long journeys i don't really use my feet as i have cruise control but i still wear my driving mocs.
Is there something wrong with me ?
The proper answer to every what footwear question. Flip flops.
I don't a huge amount of driving and use cruise control on where possible, however I have never given any consideration to this question, but now you have sown a seed of doubt in my mind. I have always thought that driving mocs were pretty cheesey mind you.
Clark's, and I struggled to drive in anything else now, especially if it has a thicker sole.
They are cheesey Woof but comfortable which is why i only use them for driving.
Although i am probably being a bit OCD i think i have a point here.
Driving crease's dress shoes even on short runs.
Ever thought of having your clutch adjusted mate? ( ;
Well - it will certainly wear out your shoes if it's that size - I mean, the friction alone........!
I've been from Tucson to Tucumcari
Tehachapi to Tonapah
Driven every kind of rig that's ever been made
Driven the back roads so I wouldn't get weighed
And if you give me, weed, whites, and wine
And you show me a sign
I'll be willin', to be movin'
I've been kicked by the wind, robbed by the sleet
Had my head stoved in, but I'm still on my feet and I'm still, willin'
Now I smuggled some smokes and folks from Mexico
Baked by the sun, every time I go to Mexico, and I'm still
And I been from Tucson to Tucumcari
Tehachapi to Tonapah
Driven every kind of rig that's ever been made
Driven the back roads so I wouldn't get weighed
And if you give me, weed, whites, and wine
And you show me a sign
I'll be willin', to be movin
When I was driving MY semi truck , a Dodge 660 with a Perkins Diesel, I wore RM Williams 'lastic sided boots. And original Levis 501s. The were guaranteed for a year and I got a new pair free once by wearing mine out in 3 months carting hay.
Lowell is one of my heroes.
I just tell my chauffeur to place a selection of shoes for me in the custom cedar shoe cabinet I had installed in the rear of the seat. Often I don't even look at them and just wear whatever's on my feet when I get in the car.
