Wish I was in Melbourne right about now. Crappy and rainy here in Virginia Beach. But, I will be in the OBX for a weekend wedding starting this afternoon. Hopefully some good waves, got a new stick I havent got a chance to use yet.

Lisbon.
Great food, booze, arts and music.
A rickety old school tram system to get you to and from some classic 'dive' bars and late night street-food vendors in the old part of the city.

Sim!

Portugal is a hidden gem. Cascais is fantastic. Great waves, hope to do a trip next year with a circuit starting in Hossegor, down the Basque country, through Portugal then a hop to Morocco.

^Top spot. Venice is easily in the top three most unique auras of any city. Right up with Hong Kong.

Back to the original topic.

Prague is nice as is Budapest.

Istanbul is another gem...

Cairo is the most insane city on earth. 18m people, and it seems they're all on the road at the same time...

Budapest is a really fantastic place that is still a little under the radar. I do fear what's going on with the Hungarian government at the moment though.
