Shopping suggestions in Italia
From tomorrow i will be taking a much needed holiday/vacation and will not be around the forum very much. Has anyone got any shopping suggestions for me ? I will be in Rome,Venice, Naples, Messina, and Sorrento in Bella Italia and Sicily. I will also will be visiting Dubrovnik and split in Croatia.

That's quite a trip. I can't recommend anything clothing-wise in Italy without veering into i-gent territory, so I will just suggest that you check out leather goods in Sorrento and ceramics in Sicily. Venice is a desert, stick to the sightseeing there instead.

Near Venice the MacArthur Glen Outlet Village: Brioni suits and jackets for well under a grand, Brooks Brothers is worth it for the pants and I picked-up a rather splendid knitted tie for €5! Of course, the rest of it is "we're famous for our non-iron shirts don't cha' know!"
Some shops that my missus liked too, can't remember the names now. But all in all, a cut above the outlets in the UK.
