I've got a pair of Alden split-toe tanker boots in burgundy cordovan, toes more rounded than pointed, all-weather combination crepe/leather soles, circa 2005-06 .....
really like them a lot, very comfortable, good for three seasons .... they answer my split-toe needs ......
I wear them casually with jeans mostly, dressing them down severely .....

I find it impossible to get past the brand tag on Paraboot. Those Avignons do look outstanding shoes for standing or walking in.

The Carminas on the Satorial Notes site look better in the flesh than in that picture.
A custom made pair by them come in at about £375 in Horween shell cordo, but really helps if you speak Spanish when ordering.
