Some brand of long wing. I mean, if the pants were a higher rise and not so slim in the leg, then you'd have the makings of something decent. Of course without even seeing it you know the shirt collar is likely poop.
You are right , i am going to wear them to this Simontologist evening (Not).
That caught my eye too - Shetlands are supposed to be made in Scotland dammit.
Jivvy is a newbie guys we need to ease him into the program.

Can you keep your selfies to the what are you wearing thread please WM.
I would think that some half arsed lazy marketing twat came up with the king of ivy/ designer tag rather than John or Paul. I like what they do and I like them and there shop and a lot of what they sell. However there are people out there who like to over play things on their behalf which is a shame because when you don't blow it out of proportion John has a pretty good record.
I would say John is a very clever business man and was clearly involved in Mod from it's early days if not the beginnings in London. I didn't think john was the very first importer but an early adapter of the style who has had a strong influence on selling it in London since the 60s? I think he finds some of the more over the top endorsements amusing? I've had a conversation with him about it and he came across as fairly proud of his achievements but not that he felt he was some sort of king or over lord of the style.
Sometimes I think he gets it from both ends here- those who wanna proclaim him some sort of God and those who think he's overrated? I would put myself down as a reasonably happy punter of his who doesn't have a false ideal of him.
