AC - I agree. You see a lot of comments about WASPS and old money, but when you start digging you learn that their may be three generations old perhaps four. If your fortune was made at the beginning of the 20th century is that really old? Doesn't seem all that old to me.

I had heard the term blue blood was due to silver toxicity from the wealthy using sliver plates and cutlery. Consuming silver causes irreversible pigmentation of the skin with a grey/blue hue. Hence the term blue blood.

I had intended to make this, even arranged to stay with my sister and her boyfriend, but my missus has been asked to work at short notice and her parents are busy so I'm staying in with my son instead.
