I'm in the market for a blazer and notice there's several available from J.Press online store, quite a price range difference too, anyone have any of the latest ones?
Ox maybe? Or SenorServo?
calling Dr. Jeff Reed ....
I would guess that any that say they are made in USA are Southwick, but I would give them a call to double check. I would be weary of the ones that aren't made in the USA.
Senservo? Jeff? Billax?
I would inquire by phone about the shoulders. I got a suit this year at their warehouse sale, the soulders are soft but not one hundred percent soft. I'm fine with that. This was their 100 aniversary model suit. It all depends when and who made it for them.
Yeah, I'm no help. I don't care for the boxiness of Press jackets. My current blazer is a sack, BB, but it is far less boxy than the ones I've seen at Press. I'm an already admitted Ivy heretic in that I do not generally seek out, or often wear sack style jackets and suits.
If I ever need another blazer, it will be a 2 button Ben Silver. I'm unsure about a lot in life, but that I know.
/\ I see ... still, though, your opinion about the shape of Press jackets is responsive to the OP's question and interesting ....
The ones I saw in the J Press Shops in DC and Cambridge were excellent.
/\ again, good to know ....
moral of the story?
Never bet the devil your head?
I am glad your strange disappearance was only temporary Jeff ......
Thank you, Mr. Shall. Obligation found me despite the ducking I do.
A good time to buy a J Press blazer in their 40% sale
