Nice one.
Love my Birch pair so I just bought a Navy pair.
Rude not to at that price.

Re: Sperry CVO

From what I understand, they're only being made for the UK market.

I picked up one of the last size 8.5's (I think) from leftover stock on the internet and they ended up being too small so I sent them to WorriedMan. I had to order mine from John Simons at mark-up because they aren't available Stateside. That said, I'm pretty sure I came across a pair of deadstock '50s white canvas CVOs on eBay in yoru size a few days ago... I'll see if I can dig up the link for you.

Re: Sperry CVO

Rats, I guess the listing ended because I can't find them anymore. It was listed in the wrong category and I considered posting it in the eBay thread. They were in beautiful deadstock condition and the BIN was somewhere around the $40 mark with offers accepted. I think I was searching for 1950 naval or deck something or other because I was looking for a specific shell jacket for an upcoming weekend trip. Sorry, Big Foot.

Here's an OK pair of size 9's, not nearly as cool as the ones I'd seen a few days ago with swelled front and big fat rubber runner all around the sides...

Re: Sperry CVO

I have the OiPolloi Cottonopolis ones which are the same but leather lined - tried all sorts of tricks but they still cut my heals up! Might try my dremel on them - hahaha

Tom, I've got blood stains soaked into the canvas all over the inside heels of my Sperrys!

Re: Sperry CVO

Thanks for the tip off. I bought some of these a while ago and for an unaccountable reason sized down so had to return, by which point my size was gone, so I'm glad to get them in my size at last.

A bargain at 25 total, but still, as TS Eliot said: January is the most expensive month.

some sort of banal legitimacy

Grrr, just realised I never used the 20% off code - big hairy bums. And they have still not dispatched them!
