Re: Lean Garments

Has anyone received the last batch of OCBDs?  I'm wondering when they'll have some available for those that failed to pre-order.

Re: Lean Garments

I find its difficult to know where you are with the company . In the summer I responded to the 3 over-dyed shirt package & received confirmation. But since then, nothing.

Re: Lean Garments

Interesting, I received an update a couple of weeks ago... with the information that you can email whenever you want. Which is true - I always got answers to my mails.

Re: Lean Garments

I received mine yesterday. The fit and collar is much better than on the popover.

Re: Lean Garments

Just had an email to say they had some extras, so picked up a denim button down, should look sweet with most items in the wardrobe.

Re: Lean Garments

I received mine today. Very happy with them, both the collar and fit are perfect.

It does seem a long time ago since I placed the order/ reservation (July I think) and I actually forgot about them but when I emailed for an update, they were very quick to respond. Apparently there was a delay with their manufacturer as they were supposed to be ready by mid Sept.

I see they are doing sweatshirts, has anyone picked one up?

Re: Lean Garments

Mine arrived on Monday. The fit is much improved. I especially like the collar.

I ordered three mediums. The Denim BD it seems, is a slightly different pattern to the White and Candy stripe. Larger overall. But most notably in the body length and sleeve length. Anyone else find this or did I get a dud? I thought there were all supposed to be the same.

I am quite happy with these shirts as "beaters". But you can't them dress these up. The cloth is too textured.

And on an environ(mentalist) note, I think the packaging is OTT. Loads of plastic, cardboard and nylon. No need for half of it, especially as it's done so badly.

Re: Lean Garments

Had the despatch notice yesterday - will see what it's like when it arrives. I got the denim shirt thinking it might be a good alternative to a chambray under a cord sack or pendleton. For the price they seem to be a good as you say daily beater. Get a pic up of the denim.

Re: Lean Garments

I still rate my Pike Brothers Sweat, like Wooster I like the boxier cut - everything about it is perfect for my frame.

Looking forward to getting this shirt now.

Got my pack of 5 yesterday.  Too tight so will have to go back.

Re: Lean Garments

Am I reading the sizing chart wrong or are the sleeves really long on these?

Re: Lean Garments

They are on the long - mine are comparable to a 34 length.
