Press walk shorts are very nice. Seersucker gingham are my favorite shorts. I guess if I spent all of my time in the urban jungle shorts wouldn't be necessary. But summer is truly the worst season to be in the city and I escape whenever I can. And when it's hot I don't care what Fran or the rest of the hipper than me club in their black trousers think about a 40 something wearing shorts. That they should care at all makes them less free than me and I am all about freedom. You'll know it is me when you see me wearing a red white and blue ribbon belt with my pet eagle and guns by my side.

I'm pretty sure if all shorts wearers wore walking shorts with a decent shirt or polo then she wouldn't have raised the subject.

Hang on, are we talking about the same J.Press shorts? I bought a pair some time ago and while the waist was very tight, the trouser legs were far too wide. In fact they reminded me of to this bloke:

I think her lack of style comes naturally. I do, I really do. She has no style, zero. Of course there's millions of women like this, it's just that not everyone's looking at them constantly.

But I would not say her look (I won't even call it style) is so imposed on her. Yes, there's a narrow parameter for a woman that public, but I don't feel that inside of Hillary Clinton there's a Jane Birkin waiting to get out. I don't think she cares. I don't think she is interested in how her house looks, where her furniture is from—I don't think she has any visual interests. And there's nothing wrong in not caring. A man who doesn't care about what he looks like, he's applauded. We say, 'Oh, he's not superficial!"



Why is she so hard on Hilary Clinton?

I know Hils is past her best, but I reckon she scrubs up quite well and has got nice blue eyes. Put it this way, if I was going to be cast adrift on a desert island with one of them, I'd choose her any day over old Choco Leibenitz, or whatever she's called.
