I'll czech them out
Interesting, I discovered them last year on Menlook - but Talk Ivy wasn't mature enough for them
They really seem like those cheap army sneakers and I remember my dad mentioning brown canvas sneakers he wore as a kid. They were probably Novestas, as the cheap stuff was bought in Soviet stores here in Vienna (until 1955). Would make sense.
For me they seem to wide for my narrow feet, we will see. I like the look.
First saw them last year, then Bop modelled his and I was tempted but decided to hold out for a pair of PF Flyer when in the US - alas this never happened and with a few beans in my paypal I decided to invest. Very soft and flexible with good arch support.
I was thinking about some new Sperry CVOs for the season, until I pulled out from the back of the closet the white canvas Supergas I purchased on a whim a couple years ago but never wore much. They're actually pretty cool looking, I think. I don't think there's much Ivy cred to the Superga sneaker, that I'm aware of, but mine should serve my purposes this season.

Love Supergas, but as I bought a pair for my wife figured an alternative was required by myself.
I had a pair and loved them - but stupidly I bought them a half number too small... so I gave them away. Never bought them again. Although... they are nice.
Im a 13uk but fit an 11uk with the comfort sole removed... I would size down just one..I had to go two because they only stocked an 11uk as the largest size...its a bit like with Reebok..the 11 seems to actually be a 12

Thanks Bop, that's good to know.
Tbh with te insole in I would be a half size, just get way with it. Yup size down.
Thanks Tom, appreciate the info!
