The front grill looks different to images I found with a quick google. But very similar to the Austin Cambridge.
My Dad was born in '59. His old man drove a Morris Minor…Horrible looking things.

As magnificent as those houses are, the modernist architects never really came up with a convincing antidote to the problems of flat roofs and the over heating in summer. Air conditioning aside.
Having lived in an award winning flat roofed pod-type modernist montrosity, I can assure you the cliche is true.
I now have a modern house, but with the Dutch style roof that it as a more acute angle than what we Brits are use to and it runs down the near full length of the house, and this is an ideal. It was 33.5 degrees C last Friday, but a comfortable 20 degrees in the house. This innovation, I think it's been typical of Dutch architecture since at least the 17th century, works a treat in hot weather.

As long as you look after them and get them recoated or serviced every 8-10 years you will be okay. But it is a problem if you don't take action.
The biggest problem, from my experience, is over heating.
well all roofs will leak eventually. As long as the run-off angle is correct, about 1 in 80, and the proper membranes etc are laid correctly, shouldn't be any issue. programmed maintenance is of course key too, building need to be looked after, just like anything else really.
Let's try to keep Ollie's thread on track with things of '59 specifically. There are other car threads wherein we can carry on with general car talk.
