Maybe give Frank Spencer a call?
Also, ask him if he cleaned up after Jessica when she done a whoopsie on the carpet?

Jokes aside, a quick search brought little in this direction — I take it that you are not after a bog standard Beret. (http://www.leberetfrancais.com/berets-pour-homme.html)
If you're still near that shop, you could always ask one of the staff and maybe peek inside the Beret to check for any label.

At least now you can ask Bop where he got his?
So all is not lost...
Actually, Citizen Smith has just sprung to mind as well.
POWER TO THE PEOPLE!
There are normally some berets kicking around in John Simons. I think they've been there since 1968.
The SW1s are members of P.E.. well formerly they were.

To me it looks like the militarily beret style with the wall..but no leather trim..did it have a tie in the back?
To be honest, I either didn't look or can't remember looking (either way - I can't remember ) - to my untrained eye, the hat I'm after is more akin to the basque beret or perhaps, as alluded to by one of the other posters - more like a bakers hat, since it has a proper band. As opposed to the leather trim on the military style beret? As I said earlier, was meant to a canarian peasant/fisherman outfit - will try and dig out a pic of the sort of thing I mean.
I don't think the one you posted looks like the basque style because they seem to sit flush to bottom of the band..unless of course they can be pulled up..but I don't think they can..the one you posted looks like the military style without the leather trim. Anyway good luck
