Fantastic research.
I've got a jacket somewhere with an 'Eagle Clothes for Oransky's of Cedar Rapids' label, nice to get a bit of background.

Is this the same as the Eagle shirt company?  I see decent button-downs from them occasionally on my thrift jaunts.  Good stuff, AC.  Eagle's never really been on my radar for vintage.
