It doesn't take much to annoy some people does it?
I think it is far worse when people write 'sooo' in texts etc ....e.g. 'those shoes are sooo cool' ...which is presumably meant to represent the habit of over emphasising the word 'so' when speaking. That is far more annoying than just starting your sentences with the word 'so'.
What is even worse is over use of the word 'like'.
No, it's no good, I'm sooo annoyed I'll have to go and give myself a rub down with yesterday's Daily Mail.

With a name like Chuck Power I think he's got the right to use the word wank as in any form he likes.
I'm more bothered about the lack of use of a capital i in the thread tittle than using so at the start of a sentence. That to my mind is the very meaning of pretentious, and its a bit racist.
