Yeah I'm for real. Well known for it on the Italian mod scene. I had no idea til he posted some shit up, I was shocked. I was just as shocked that every other fooker seem to know apart from me. He was removed from a FB group after I outted the hoho with this...

One of many nasty things he follows, though he has since deleted that group from his "likes"...and me. lol

Re: One Ivy Inspired Italian...

Italians do have a very high tolerance of what many of us would consider borderline fascism. They justify it as a bulwark against communism and the far Left. They do have a genuine fear about a return to the Years of Lead, which was very palatable around 2011-13. But seems to have died down in the last 18 months.

Italian cinema is full of references to fascism being still ingrained in their society.

I visit Italy a fair bit, it is a wonderful place to visit, especially on holiday & for business trips, but it remains a hardship location to work and live, especially the winter in the North.

^I posted my response before yours! I hadn't seen that post.

It doesn't surprise me though - behind the double espresso's - Italy is a nasty state. The EU has changed nought.

I know Italian companies who will only work for international Western countries, excluding Italian companies, including all the big ones, because you won't get paid unless you bribe someone or pay a kick-back up front.

That facebook page would not IMCO raise an eyebrow in Italy.

That is banged to rights fascism.  The only good fascist in my opinion is a dead one.

Moving back on topic,  where is Thee Captain,  defending the right of one and all to be a ponce?  I like some of what the fella is wearing in Chiefs original post,  much as could be said of GW style- some of the combinations and patterns are very interesting even though its not what I'd wear in terms of the actual items.

Yeah, I unfriended him when he posted some horrible anti-semitic shit, and some "blood and honour" bollocks about the SS. Who fucking knew!?

Re: One Ivy Inspired Italian...

Surely one shoe would have to have more soles than the other for that to occur? Maybe one double one quadruple?

Anyway, other than the person (or Harry Potter character - I've never read them or seen the films and have no intention of doing either) who complained about GW a couple of years ago, I am sure the rest of us would be happy to see him posting on the IL Style for Today thread, even if it's not exactly most people's cup of tea. There's at least one regular poster on there that I find too painful to even look at and I don't complain - no I don't intend to expand on that - so someone who is of interest is welcome I'm sure.

That's assuming he hasn't converted to Nazism since he last posted.

Ivy button down with English Autumn tweed - he's giving a finger to the Italian sartorial establishment.

I think he looks  in pretty good shape for a guy in his 90s. I like his style.
