Whereas you have the strong whiff of a smug, self righteous know all. Unlike your laughable "my dad says Arthur Scargill is a bad man" routine - I actually know what I am talking about.

Re: The Jeremy Corbyn sartorial thread

No, please elaborate on your step up to the plate challenge. What does this entail? You beating me into submission with your rapier like wit ? hmm  You are an annoying bore, who  likes to be an authority on everything and then tries to brow beat  anyone who has the temerity to disagree or challenge you. I'll go and dust off my donkey jacket - I'll bring it along when I 'step up to the plate' .......

You couldn't make it up .

Re: The Jeremy Corbyn sartorial thread

I do wish Corbyn would just bog off. The party only has its self to blame and needs to look at length of membership before leadership votes can be made. To late now of course. Its almost as if Labour has been hijacked. The Bevan days are gone, they served their purpose, of that theres no doubt. Anti-Royal posing and sympathy to despots just isn't where most working class people are at. They have real concerns about over population, poor wages and jobs. The Tories are making all the right noises about mass immigration. Cameron is tapping into the man on the street when he talks about a host of issues.
Some people on this thread need to stop thinking its either Mrs. T or Scargill. Those days are gone. The reason everything is more center is because thats where people want to be. The far(ish)  left hijacking Labour will be leaving only the Tories as a serious viable option.
Most working class people at least like to think they've got a chance of social mobility.

I think it's because he's a vegetarian... Cameron on the other hand looks like someones drawn a face on a red balloon...it looked like it was going to pop yesterday...

I thinknthe Labour party might what to calm down on the jeering if they're looking to take a moral high ground

Whatever next? Insults about badly fitting clothing and poor spelling?

Re: The Jeremy Corbyn sartorial thread

Seeing as Mr. Watson has never said a word about Lord Janner's child sex crimes in April when everyman and his dog was demanding action but has made claims about Brittan  I can only conclude that Watson is a demagogue ( leaving aside his direct action comments) as one (Labour) is to face charges and one (Tory) isn't. A rotten affair all round really. If only he'd have demanded action against Janner he could have come out of the whole Brittan incident a lot better. Scoring points using abused children doesn't bode well for being a senior MP in a ruling party. IMHO and as a Labour voter, bit of a wanker really.
