Channel 4 news used to be good but it seems to have lost direction. I rate Matt Frei as a reporter and think he should replace Snow. I tuned in to Al jazeera when it was on SD Freeview and I sometimes watch Russia Today although a few Russian acquaintances say it's not good. Dimbleby is hopeless on the BBC and I find the BBC is so dumbed down now that it is too painful to watch. I might stop paying the licence fee and spend the saved money on a paisley tie or two.
