Woody always had a good eye for clothes, that was never a problem, regardless of the decade ......

after that excruciating documentary about his European tour playing that cod trad Dixieland I thought I'd never be able to deal with him again but he surprised me with the clever Midnight in Paris, which I enjoyed a lot ..... 

didn't think he'd ever make me laugh again but that movie is good, for me .....

re Hudson's Bay blankets, I have a few in the house but in red, green, gold, even the seldom-seen blue, but I never had the classic white with multi-colored stripes ....

wanted one freshman year, they were sold at the old Co-Op on the second floor, and they looked enticing, and Bean had them for years, but I would have gotten in trouble if my Co-Op bill had included a charge for one of those ... so my dorm room blankets were red and green Bean camp blankets at like one-tenth the price of a real Hudson's Bay ....

the Hudson's Bay blanket robe voyageur's coat was also sold at the Co-Op, right next to the Pendleton area, second floor, near the north wall where the tennis stuff was displayed .....

but nobody wore that voyageur's blanket robe coat, and it was gone by the next year .....

meanwhile, I would like an M-65 jacket at the moment .....

down here in the humid swamp I wear a 50 or 60-year-old federal-blue point-blanket throw around my shoulders many nights when the air-conditioning is blasting away, I like it

Love that blanket stan... Bean's still carries the Hudson's Bay blanket, or did the last time I was in their Home store which was admittedly a couple years ago... priced very high these days...

I have a socks question for ya - if it's too warm for ragg wool, what's the sock of choice for blucher mocs? No sock? I can't imagine pairing either a dark dress sock or a white athletic sock with them, too formal for mocs on the one hand and white and leather are iffy on the other... Help a brother out...

/\  weird wacky wild stuff Bop, but who the hell keeps a pen in his back pocket (a wise lad once advocated mechanical pencils in chest pockets, makes more sense) .....

.... and, preppies don't wear Jostens class rings .... maybe a signet ring if they're being extra-douchey (no offense etc.) ....

but they all do carry the OPH in their back pockets in case they have to check something quickly in a moment of truth ......
