We do have fun on here.
Oh man. That's terrible about his accident. I hope he makes a full recovery.
Awful news about YSR but at least Sancho has eventually had some communication with YSR, albeit coincidentally like Armchaired said.
With regards to CaptainMaddox, it didn't help that I forgot about the purchase and that I didn't do anything via Paypal's resolution centre. I suppose I was too trusting considering that CaptainMaddox was a frequent poster with over 300 posts and had sold things on the board previously, he even pointed me to Harpo for a reference.
I've came to the conclusion that something bad must of happened to him because who would go to so much effort to con someone of £19? I would just like the shirt in time for next summer please

If this be the case then I too wish him a speedy recovery and hope it's not some weird lame excuse, just that it's all a bit coincidental but then again, maybe he's in a state to look at the post and realise that he needs to let folks know the low down. Tbh, his missus could get these items in the post for him, not rocket science.
She said that she would post my shirt this evening.
The one time I ever sold something on this forum, the buyer died before he could pay.
So I've not bothered since.
Made me laugh. Hard to get comedic timing down in this format, but somehow it's there.
Hello all. I recently had a similar experience with YSR. Bought a red and white stripe Makers off him on 26 October and was advised it would be posted to the UK the next day. Weeks went by without the shirt being delivered. I then found the exact same shirt advertised on Etsy and contacted him to ask whether he might've mistakenly advertised the same shirt twice, or whether he'd just re-used my shirt's photos to advertise a second one, and also to give him a nudge and remind him that I was still waiting. I contacted him through Etsy, the forum and a personal email address, and heard nothing back.
The shirt on Etsy has since sold.
I hope he's ok. I wouldn't mind a chat with his missus about posting my shirt though to see if I can still get hold of the shirt I paid for.
Sancho, can you PM me her email address?
Many thanks
Brad
...still hasn't shipped it...
Brad: I don't know her e-mail, and I can't see it anywhere, she contacted me through YSRs Etsy account, sorry man!
I hate to say it but, to paraphrase The Coasters: that's a shirt you'll never own. After his 'wife' told you the shirt was going out that evening I admit I did think I'd done him an injustice, however after reading of Kafka's similar experience to your own, it seems obvious what has happened.
My personal opinion of YSR is that he's a fantasist. The tats and his Etsy profile suggest a fascination with being a gangster, whilst his online personality suggests he wants to be an igent. In reality it appears he's an inept petty thief. (Or it's all a series of incredible coincidences, in which case I'm very sorry to make false accusations.)
Thanks anyway Sancho.
Yuca, I'm inclined to agree. I don't hold out much hope of getting that shirt.
Not trying to hop on YSR, but his Etsy account isn't even there anymore... Now that's a bit odd if you ask me.
Great. Have to sit with my christmas sweater on without a nice vtg Brooks Brothers Makers shirt underneath.
